Fantastic Balloon, led by Marisol Gomez, is a company specializing in balloon decorations that has made a lasting impact in the event industry. Since its inception in 2009, Marisol has demonstrated exceptional skill in creating classic decorations such as arches, garlands, and columns, as well as impressive balloon sculptures including large-scale animals, logos, and backdrops.

 

Marisol, originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, began her journey by taking classes in classic decorations in 2009 and soon started designing decorations for friends and family. In 2013, she founded Fantastic Balloon Events Solutions, LLC in the city of Denver, Colorado, after receiving training at the Mi Casa Resource Center. Since then, she has attended several global conventions, including Denver in 2014, Louisiana in 2016, San Diego, California in 2018, and has gained knowledge from internationally renowned decorators at conventions in Missouri, Las Vegas, and Anaheim, and California. In 2015, she obtained her decorator certification in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Marisol successfully balances her personal and professional life. At 42 years old, she is a dedicated mother of two daughters and has found the flexibility in her business to take care of her family. Outside of work, Marisol immerses herself in her passion for learning about human behavior, exploring technology, and savoring cuisine from different parts of the world. She enjoys traveling, particularly road trips, and is a fan of video games, with a Nintendo Switch and virtual reality glasses as her entertainment companions. She constantly seeks opportunities to stay updated on topics such as accounting and how technology can enhance both her personal and professional life.

Fantastic Balloon has left its mark on numerous notable events. Marisol enthusiastically shares stories such as the occasion when they decorated a wedding at a city hotel, only to later discover that the groom was an NBA player. She also recalls the challenge of creating an octopus for a first birthday, which required a 5-foot head and 25-foot tentacles suspended in the air. Marisol and her team, consisting of six people, worked tirelessly for 16 hours to create the octopus and other decorations requested by the client. The octopus's head was tied to the ceiling with fishing line, while magnets were used to keep the tentacles suspended in the air. Although it was a bit sad to deflate all the balloons after the event, it was necessary, and Marisol's dedication to her craft shone through.

 

Marisol's primary objective is to create a new way of celebrating with high-quality decorations, ensuring that clients have the confidence that they will receive the best of her expertise and recommendations to make their decorations shine and last longer. She finds great joy in seeing her clients' astonishment at the final result of the decorations and the heartfelt messages of appreciation she receives.
